Our undergraduate program is a four-year program culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and Atmospheric Science. Students may choose from one of five options in the meteorology and atmospheric science major: atmospheric chemistry, environmental meteorology, weather forecasting and communications, weather risk management, or the general option. We do not currently offer an online B.S. degree; however, we do have an online Certificate of Achievement in Weather Forecasting. A few of the courses in this certificate may count toward a degree if you decide to pursue a B.S. degree in residence at Penn State University Park in the future.
